Ktecedios is the given name for the planet of the campaign setting, though the campaign takes place terrestrially in a so far limited region also called Ktecedios.

No no, don't get me wrong, that's helpful, but what is "Ktecedios"?

Oh, I was hoping you weren't going to ask that.  Ktecedios is an anagram for the DM's favorite soft drink, but also, the first two letters are the phonetic nickname of his daughter.  Once the DM came up with it, it just stuck.

How do you pronounce "Ktecedios"?

Kay-said-ee-oce.  The last syllable rhymes with "gross" or "boast".
